No. InitSignal tells you when an app is launched for the first time. It does not measure sessions, screens, funnels, retention, or behavior, so it works alongside analytics rather than replacing it.
Yes. Every InitSignal account starts with a 14-day free trial, and you do not need a credit card to begin.
A first-launch signal can include the app and build version, bundle or package identifier, platform and OS version, device family and model, app locale, SDK version, install source, event time, and App Store storefront country when available.
InitSignal does not identify individual people. After sending a first-launch signal, the SDK stores a marker on the device so later launches send nothing. Signals are not combined across devices, and some reinstalls may produce another signal.
Yes. The InitSignal SDK supports native macOS apps on macOS 13 or later, as well as Mac Catalyst apps on Mac Catalyst 16 or later.
Not yet. The InitSignal SDK currently supports iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and Mac Catalyst. Android support is coming very soon, and you can join the Android waitlist to be notified when it is ready.
The SDK does not hold up app startup while waiting for the network. It sends the signal asynchronously and does no ongoing session or behavior tracking after that first signal.

A first-launch signal usually appears in the dashboard and connected notification destinations within a few seconds. Device connectivity and the notification provider can affect delivery time.
Your trial starts when you create your InitSignal account. You can use every current feature for 14 days without adding a payment method.
You keep every day left in your trial. Polar collects your payment details at checkout, but your first monthly or yearly payment is not charged until the remaining trial ends.
Your dashboard and notifications pause until you choose a plan. We continue receiving first-launch signals for five days, so you can subscribe without immediately losing those recent launches.
Yes. Monthly, yearly, and Lifetime Membership all include every current InitSignal feature. The only difference is how you pay: $9 monthly, $90 yearly, or one payment for Lifetime Membership.
Lifetime Membership is a one-time purchase for permanent access to all current InitSignal features. It is charged immediately and has no renewal or recurring fee.
It is a founder offer for the first 50 Lifetime Membership purchases. After those places are taken, Lifetime Membership costs $149 as a one-time payment.
Yes. If you start a subscription during your trial and cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your Account page.
Your subscription stops renewing, and you keep full access through the period you already paid for. After access ends, we continue receiving first-launch signals for five days, but your dashboard and notifications pause.
InitSignal uses Polar, a payment platform for software products. Your payment details are entered directly in Polar's checkout, which handles taxes, receipts, and recurring charges. InitSignal never sees or has access to your card details. We only receive the billing status needed to manage your access.
The SDK sends one signal when it detects the app's first launch. It does not know or report when the app was installed, keep running as an analytics tool, or build a history of how someone uses your app.
A first-launch signal can include the app and build version, platform and OS version, device family and model, app locale, SDK version, install source, event time, and App Store storefront country when available.
No. It does not collect names, email addresses, Apple IDs, advertising or vendor identifiers, precise location, contacts, photos, files, screen views, sessions, or cross-app identifiers. We also do not store IP addresses.
